通过对新加坡研发中心进行扩建，英飞凌将加强其在下一代家庭网络技术、客户端设备（CPE）、互联网接入设备（IAD）、移动电话平台（超低成本）、面向移动电视的数字视频广播（DVB）、面向功率管理的数字电源控制、面向汽车和工业应用的微控制器、面向晶圆制造和封装的工艺技术，以及专用IC（ASIC）设计领域的开发能力。
